Copying entire webpages crashes OneNote

Let's say I want to copy a webpage filled with text, hyperlinks and
images and paste them into OneNote.

Using Firefox, copying the entire webpage (only the article, not the
advertisements etc) will crash OneNote. So, I've to copy the text with
hyperlinks and the images separately.

Using Opera, Opera will just copy all the text. No hyperlinks or images
will be copied.

Is there anyway which I can copy the entire webpage in one go without
crashing OneNote:confused:

printing will print the webpage but remove all hyperlinks. It will be a
static image (though Onenote will OCR it and make it searchable). However, I
can copy all the hyperlinks and images into OneNote and it copies without
crashing ( although it does lose formatting). It does take time though, so
you might have to be patient.

If that doesn't work, send me a link to the page you are trying to copy and
I'll take a look.

Thanks,
Ani

But, printing only copies a static image which I'm unable to edit
Extracting the text also defeats the purpose, as all hyperlinks an
images won't appear.

I realise that as long as there are images in the page I'm copying
OneNote is bound to hang. And, when it finally responded, it onl
copied text and hyperlinks, no images at all. This happens to all page
which has images on it.

However, when I'm only copying text with hyperlinks, it could do s
quickly. This also occurs when I'm copying an image alone. Copying i
fast. But, this is only because I right click and clicked on 'Cop
Image'. If i highlighted the image and just clicked on 'Copy', th
image could not be copied as before

Does this happen for every webpage, or just certain pages? If it happens
to only certain pages, could you post the URL to some of the pages that
it happens on? Could you also post which version of Firefox you're using?

After it crashes, could you also submit an error report post the error
report number (bucket number)? You can find instructions for getting
this number here:
