copying equations from one file to another

Hello everyone. I have a question regarding copying
equations from one worksheet to another. All of my
worksheets in both files have the same name. Is there any
way to copy an equation from one file to another without
it carrying a link? I thought there would be some kind of
paste special equation function but I have not been able
to find one. Thanks!

Hi Aaron,
To copy a formula in the way you want:
READ this carefully before you start
1) Double click the source file
2) In the formula bar, select he formula with the mouse
3) Click on the Copy tool
4) VERY IMPORTANT: press the Esc button so that the source formula is not
altered.
5)Go to new file/sheet/cell (whatever) and use Paste.
