Copying Excel Page into Publisher ....

I am trying to copy and paste a page of an excel spreadsheet into Publisher.
When I go to copy and paste a section that has been 'merged and centered' in
Excel, it will not allow me to vertically align and center the text in
Publisher. Publisher is not allowing me to 'Format - Cells' and then 'Align
text - center - center' like I can in Excel. Help!

I am using Publisher 2003 and Windows 2000 Prof. in this project.

Paste special, new table..


Try... Insert, object, scroll down to the Excel options, tick "create from file"
on the left of the dialogue box. Once the Excel object is inserted,
right-click, click "Microsoft Office Excel....."
