There must be a slicker way of formatting a column the same as another
elsewhere in the same sheet than

Select and copying column X
the
selecting and Pasting Special Formats into column Y

....?

What do you find un-slick about that process? It seems pretty slick to me.

Don't know about slicker, but different:

Select column X

Click on the Format Painter tool

Click on column Y header.
