Copying from a non-system.mdw to the system.mdw

I have created a backend database from a non-system mdw to a system.mdw
group, this went well, now the challenge is the frontend, I can't import the,
forms, reports, macros, etc. from the non-system mdw file, even by opening
two instances of access. It comes back with no permissions assigned to access
the non-system.mdw from the newly created system.mdw file.

Can you please document for the next person with this problem what you
did to resolve it?
