Copying from a Word doucment and pasting to another Word document

Recently, I tried copying a table with two jpegs in it in order to past it
into another Word document.

Although the pasting did take place, nothing was visible.

I tried this simple procedure several times with the same negative results.

What was I doing wrong please?

I use MS Office 2007 Enterprise on Vista Ultimate.

It sounds like the images are not actually "in" table cells. Instead they
are floating objects which are actually behind or in front of the table.
Check to see what style of Text Wrapping is applied to each image. That
should give you a better indication of how to proceed.
