copying/pasting a "date" between 2-Excel files gives different dat

Nick

I have used Excel for several years and this has never happened to me before.
When I copy a cell with "date" in it (or combination of many cells with
"dates" as data) from one Excel files, and paste it to a different Excel
file, I end up with a different date.

For example, I copied 6/24/1993 from a cell from one Excel file and copied
to another Excel file - cell, it shows a date 6/23/1989.

Very strange! Can you help me? Many dates in my file have suddenly changed
while updating data in it. I need to find some simple solution, becuase I
have hundreds of dates in the file and they all have changed.
