I have a document in Word 2000, comprising a table with 1 row and 2
columns. Both cells have a small amount of text in them.
If I highlight both cells, then copy them to Notepad, all the carriage
returns in the cell text are removed. (The table structure is
obviously lost as well, but this is ok.)
Checking in the Clipboard viewer (text, unicode, oemtext, etc), it
seems that the clipboard contents also have the carriage returns
removed.
If I try the same exercise but on text which does NOT include a table,
the carriage returns are preserved ok.
Is there any way I can preserve the carriage returns (not the table
layout) when pasting from a Word table to the clipboard?
Thanks in advance.
