Copying Queries, Forms, Reports, etc

I am trying to convert a database that was originally
created in 97 to XP. However, I am unable to do so. I
assume the database may be corrupted. So, I'm trying to
copy each object individually from 97 and pasting into my
XP database. The tables copied and pasted great, however,
it won't let me paste queries, forms, or reports. (I
haven't even tried the macros or modules yet). It is
really set up to not allow this? If so, is there some
other way other than recreating all of these. I have a
lot of queries and reports. I thought the copying and
pasting was bad enough. Please let me know any thoughts
anyone may have. Thanks for your help.

From within the destination MDB, goto the menuitem "File, Get External Data,
Import...", select the source MDB file in the resulting dialog and then click on
"Import". You will be presented with a dialog that allows you to select the
objects that you want to import. After making your selections, just click on OK.
If you find that your imports fail, try importing one or two objects at one time
until you find the offending object(s) - those will be the ones you will need to
recreate from scratch.
