We have our customer database in Access. I am wanting to have a second
database for when customers cancel their service with us. As it stands now,
the cancelled customers are still combined with current customers.
I copied the customer database and made a new one called Old Customers. In
our Customer database, I have many custom fields that I made. When I copied
the database and made Old Customers, all of the custom fields are there.
Next, I erased all of the customer files in the Old Customer database, since
I only want old customers in that database.
This is the problem: when a customer cancels service, and I want to copy
their file from the Customer database and move it to the Old Customer
database, I can do that, but the custom fields are not being moved over. Any
idea what I can do about it?
