Copying Records from dBase 7.0 files into Existing Access Table

Thanks, Joe Fallon, for your assistance regarding
Importing DBF data into an existing Access Table. I hope
that you, or anyone else can help me, please!?

In the Access 2000 Help documentation, it says that if I
import data from a DBF file the data goes into a new
Table. Perhaps I'm missing something here.

In addition, I notice that the Help documentation in
Access only allows dBase up to v5.0 in the selection
menu, yet it allows importing up to v7.0 if one has the
BDE 4.x+ installed (which I did today).

So, does Access 2000 allow:

1) Importing of dBase v7.0 files, or should I just refer
to them as v5.0 for the command function?

2) Can the command use a wildcard in it (e.g. *.dbf) for
the file to be imported, so it imports multiple file
contents?

3) Will I have to have multiple Tables for each daily
import for each county?

Is anyone able to provide me any other assistance to
facilitate this, because I'm lost here? I've tried
creating either a macro or VB command as had been
suggested below, but keep getting an error saying that I
don't have access to the file on my own hard disk (and
it's okay to import individually).

Thanks in advance, for any further assistance anyone may
be able to offer.

-Mike

Thanks, Joe.

I'm importing dBase 7.0 formatted files, so I'm off to
locate and install the BDE 4.x for compatibility.
