copying records from one calendar to another?

Hi,

I have two calendars in the public folder. One is the original and the
other is a new version with my new custom form and views. Is it possible to
copy the records out of one calendar and into the the other? I'll want to
modify the data in the process cause the new calendar has custom fields.
I'm assuming I'll have to use VBA for this but I'm not sure where to start.
