Copying Records From One Table Into Another

I have about 100 records I have filtered form a table in a query and I want
to
copy the records into a blank table with the same structure. I haven't had
any luck.
When I select all the returned records in the query and then open the empty
table and
try to paste I get:

'The value you entered isn't valid for this field.'

It then puts the records in a Paste Errors table.
The structure is exactly the same as the other table that the query is based
on because
I copied the structure.

Any ideas??

Why? I'm asking because you may not need to "copy records from one table to
another". What will having those records in the new table allow you to do?
And if you end up with records in table1 that match records in table2, which
table has the valid data?!
