copying secure databases

I have a very simple database on access 2000 which i only use. I was
interested in how the security wizard worked and set it up with a password so
now only I can get into it with the password but I used to make a backup copy
of this database on cd by burning it.now that the database is secured it wont
let me back it up on cd. What do i need to change to be able to do this
again? thank you for any help.....john

Is it not letting you burn it? I haven't heard of that one. If you copy it
(whether burning or copying to a different location on your HD), you'll have
to either put the file in it's original location or re-write to properties
of the desktop icon.

however, this is 2002 and I'm running with the assumption that 2000 is the
same.
