Well, actually, the answer is yes, you can, since ms-access is not really
secure when it comes to copying the file.

If you can run the application, then you need full rights to the directory
where the data file exists. Since you MUST have full rights to the data
file, then for better, or worse, this means you, or anyone else can copy the
file to their local pc.

There is not much you can do about the above, and thus this means that
ms-access is not really good at preventing people walking out with your
data.

The real problem is that to run a JET file share is that each user needs
full file permissions at the OS level.
