Copying singles occurences

So I was trying to copy a single occurence of a series to a new calendar by
dragging it and got this message -

"Single occurrences of an appointment series cannot be moved to another
calendar. You must move the original meeting or move a copy of the single
occurrence. "

So it IS possible to make a copy of one single occurence? How? Copy is
disabled when I open the occurence and ctrl + dragging just ignores me. Right
click + drag + select copy also ignores me.

Surely if it tells me to do this the feature HAS to exist? This would solve
my nagging recurrence issues if only I could find the method!

Open the occurrence, then click File>Copy to Folder. Specify the other
calendar as the destination. It worked for me.

From the Day/Week/Month view - Ctrl+C (press escape if you are in edit
subject mode when you select the appointment) and Ctrl+V to paste. You can
either paste it in place and move it or paste it in the other calendar.

Oh I know, I just wanted to know exactly how to copy a single occurence since
it suggsted it was possible.

I found a bug in Outlook apparently. If you invite someone or a resource -
dragging and copying works fine. You can copy it to a single occurence and
then drag it anywhere you please even other calendars. That's exactly what I
need.

However if no one is invited - it doesn't work at all. Ctrl-c / ctrl-v just
ignores you, as does right clicking. That is very very odd.
