Hello,
I'm new to this group, actually this is my first post to a newsgroup.
I'm using Office v.X and I am having a problem. I can not figure out if the
workbook is corrupted or if it is a bug.
I track a team for a distributed computation, and would like to make a new
sheet and chart for the new quarter.
I'm trying to copy a spread sheet and chart (on it's own sheet) retaining
the relative links or source data.
In other words, I want to copy sheet Qtr3 and its chart C3, clear the
entries in Qtr3(2), change the names to Qtr4 and C4. Leaving the links for
the source data for the chart to the appropriate data for each series.
When I try to copy the two sheets, XL quits unexpectedly. If I try to copy
just the chart and change the source data, then each time I open the
workbook I am asked to select the correct workbook to use to connect to the
chart.
This should be a basic operation, what is going wrong? How should I be doing
this?
