Copying subtotals

I have created subtotals on a large spreadsheet. How do
I copy out only the subtotal lines to do further
manipulation. When I try copying the subtotals now, it
pulls all the data with it. Thanks, Robby.

select the range, press F5, click special, select visible cells only,
copy..
