Copying to a new document and then print warning

W

W. Guy Delaney

I find that often when I copy data from one document and paste it into a new
document and then attempt to print that data that I am given the warning:
"The margins of section 1 are set outside the printable area of the page. Do
you want to continue?"

I have tried several solutions to avoid this warning, such as:

1. In the new blank document, I have pressed the ENTER key several times
hoping to leaving the previous formatting behind.
2. I have tried copy all but the last word of the text I want to paste into
a new document and then press ENTER several times

Neither of these methods work for me in Microsoft Word 2002.

Any solutions?

Hi W.,

Are you copying text, or also some kinds of graphical objects or tables? If
just text, make sure you aren't selecting the last paragraph mark and see if
that makes a difference?
