I have created a new toolbar in Word 2002 that I am attempting to copy into
Word on our terminal server (also running Word 2002). I created the toolbar
on a test computer and saved it to a new template. I then tested this on
another computer, open the new .dot file and was able to successfully go into
Tools | macros | macros | organizer, click on the Toolbars tab and copy the
toolbar to Normal.dot.
On the terminal server, I browsed to the new .dot file, right-clicked and
chose open. It shows it as a new document not as the .dot file. I then
tried to open normal.dot with the same results.
Even if I go back to Organizer choose Close File and try and open the new
..dot file, the Toolbars tab is blank.
I'm signed on to the terminal server as the domain administrator so it
shouldn't be a right's issue. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
