Copying Visio drawing into word

I want to copy Visio drawings into word so that they can
be viewed in documents (by people who do not have Visio
installed)
I've tried converting to bitmaps, jpeg, GIF etc. and then
copy into word but the degaradation in quality too severe.

Any suggestions on how to do this without losing quality.

Hi Joseph,

I also struggled with this for a while. The secret, it appears, is:
Don't convert! I got the most decent quality results from this:

In Visio: Edit-> Copy Drawing
In Word: Edit-> Paste Special-> Picture

Note: My Visio experience is entirely flowcharts & org charts, so YMMV.

Try this. In Word, use
Insert > Object > Create from file > Browse
Then choose an existing Visio file.

If I'm not mistaken, people who do not have Visio will be able to view the
drawing, but not change it.
