Copying worksheets with dates in it

I have an Excel worksheet with one column fill of dates
when I copy this worksheet to a new worksheet all the
years in the dates change to the future eg 23.12.04 will
say 23.12.07.

Hi Sarah!

Check that both workbooks are using the same date system:

Tools > Options > Calculation
Default is usually uncheck 1904 Date system
