dhewitt,

These "crop marks" are the result of an enabled East Asian
language. START>Microsoft Office Tools>Microsoft Office
XP Language Settings. Look in the enabeled languages and
remove any East Asian Language.

I recently pasted some text from an email message into
Word 2002 and the document appeared with marks at each of
the four corners of each page. I dont recall ever seeing
these before, and now it appears on every document, new or
old. I want them to go away if possible... any ideas?

Wow, thanks a lot. They're gone now. I had recently allowed Office to put in Chinese language for a presentation i was reviewing, and that must have done it. Funny, though, cause i found all sorts of other enabled languages in there - Turkish even??!!
