I sent the previous message prematurely. Here's the
complete version:
Under the following conditions, the "Today" button does
not select the current date:
1) Start Outlook.
2) Click on "Hotmail - Inbox" (Hotmail is my email
service).
3) Click on "New" to get a composition window.
4) X out of the composition window.
5) Click on Calendar.
At this point today's date becomes selected for a
fraction of a second, but then the selection disappears.
Clicking on "Today" at this point does not work. In
order to select today's date at this point, I have to
click on some date to select it, and then click "Today".
