How do I edit text within a cell?

Right now, I have to retype all the text within a cell.

Shouldn't there be a way to just change a letter or two within the cell?

Thanks.

The easiest way is to select the cell (click on it) and then click in the
formula bar to edit. If the formula bar is hidden, make sure it is visible
in the View menu.
