corrupt and no longer available

In word, i'm trying to open an excel sheet that I created. I use excel
sheets quite frequently in word. Now everyone I'm trying to open gives me a
"this object is corrupt and is no longer available" message. I get this
message even after creating a new excel sheet. Any suggestions? I've done a
detect and repair, but that did not work... Should I reinstall office?

Disable the Office Plugin that comes with Symantec/Norton AntiVirus. See
