Corrupt Attachments Received

Hello,
for the last few days all the attachments I receive haven't opened. I
receive PDFs, JPEGs, GIFs, Word, etc documents and they will open fine
if I check my email using webmail or the OS X "Mail" program, but for
some reason entourage will not open them. The application (e.g.
Acrobat) keeps saying the file is damaged or corrupted.


"Mail" can open the attachments without any problem. When the same
message is viewed in entourage, it does show that it has an
attachment, but the size is much smaller than the actual attached file
size. This is only happening in the last few days and I did not have
this problem before. I have the latest updates installed for office as
well as os x and i'm connecting to an exchange server. Anyone else has
experience with this weird problem?

These could be the signs of a database corruption; see if rebuilding your
database solves the problem.

I have the same problem but rebuilding the database does not solve

Can you verify that the attachments are not corrupt by opening them in Mail?

Problem solved, I realized a note just above the email (between the
content and the attachment) that the message has been partially
download, what I did is click to get entire message.Bingo

Try a Control click (right click)on the attachmants, make sure the correct
program is trying to open them.
