corrupt calendar--how to delete and start over

My Outlook calendar (stand alone--not over the internet or on an exchange
server) is very full from many years of use and recurring items that have
multiplied inappropriately and what I want to do is delete my entire Office
suite (I've backed up contacts, tasks, and email .pst files to re-use them)
and install a brand new version of Office 2003 that I just got. After I
remove the program from Add\Remove programs and go into the c: drive and
remove the MS Office folder, then reboot and re-install a fresh MS Office, it
installs OK and when I open OUtlook all my emails and calendar are still
there--and I want it gone so I can have a fresh calendar and can reinstall my
old emails and folders and tasks and contacts. Thanks.

new data store, then set it as the default. You can remove the old one from
your profile by righting on it and choosing Close, after you restart
outlook.
