I have a user who keeps getting a corrupt database in Entourage 2004

OSX 10.4.11

Entourage Version 11.4.0

I saved the log which gives me sporadic checksum block errors.

ERROR: BlockID #532 has an unknown checksum

ERROR: BlockID #3100 has an unknown checksum

ERROR: BlockID #4536 has an unknown checksum

ERROR: BlockID #6706 has an unknown checksum

ERROR: BlockID #7766 has an unknown checksum

ERROR: BlockID #9568 has an unknown checksum

ERROR: BlockID #11349 has an unknown checksum

ERROR: BlockID #12443 has an unknown checksum

I have rebuilt database 3 times.
I have uninstalled Entourage
Re-installed Entourage with all updates then imported .rge again and still
get the problem.

I have a hunch but would like some ideas what you think might be wrong.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

You've mentioned importing a .rge file so I'll assume you're not trying
to use the same Database over and over after repairing. Correct? If you
are then migrate to a brand new identity, which is a brand new Database.
The repair utility doesn't fix everything.

Have you run a disk repair utility on your Mac yet?

Will try a new identity and yes have used a disk util to check the mac - all
good.

Will let you know if the identity works

Thanks for the reply!
