Corrupt Document

I have a document in Word 2002 that crashes Word on a
regular basis. It seems OK usually when I first open it,
but when I start to scroll through it or make changes in
it, it freezes the program. I tried copying the text
into a new document and that didn't work. I also took
pieces of it and made separate documents and those seem
to work, but I will have 20 or 30 pages of the original
that still crash. Any suggestions? (BTW, the document
is using columns, if that matters.)

Possibly a problem with your printer driver, since Word depends on it for
page layout. Try updating it and make sure you're current with Word service
packs.
