Hello, we recnetly upgraded to excel 2007 and found that there is some error
when you copy and paste data between spreadsheets in two instances:
The first time you copy and paste, no problem
The second time you copy and paste, the paste area gets selected, but no
data gets put into the cells
Then you save and close the workbook
When you go to open it, the following message:
Excel found unreadable content in 'MyExcelDocument.xlsx', Do you want to
recover the contents of this workbook?
If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes.
Clicking no will stop everything, clicking Yes will bring up a further error
message box with
Repais to ''MyExcelDocument.xlsx'
Excel was able to open the file by repairing or removing the unreadable
contnet.
Removed records: Style from /xl/styles.xml part (Styles)
Removed Records: Format from /xl/styles.xml part (Styles)
The spreadsheet opens with no formatting.
This doesn't seem to happen when copying/pasting within one instance, but
that is not feasible for our users. This was not a problem in 2003.
Does anybody have a solution? We applied all service packs and patches, but
nothing seems to help.
Thanks,
Matt
