Does anyone know of a surefire utility that recovers
corrupt files? I have tried several ones I have come
across online and nothing has worked.
Since file structure can be damaged in so many different
ways, I'd be surprised if there were a utility that could
do this reliably for all documents.
The "best" one I've ever come across for opening documents
that can no longer be opened is Word's internal "Recover
text from any document". You lose all the formatting, but
at least you can save the actual content...
