Corrupt fonts-system fonts?

I'm having a similar problem with MS Word and think it might be a font issue
- I'd like to de-install all fonts but system fonts - how do I know which are
System Fonts on OSX

All of the fonts required for the System to operate are in
/System/Library/Fonts/. Don't move anything form there (you probably won't
be able to anyway, as the permissions don't usually allow regular users to
change its contents).

The fonts in /Library/Fonts/ and ~/Library/Fonts (where ~ represents your
user's home folder) can be moved safely to an alternate location so that
they're disabled on the next log-in.
