None of my Office 2004 applications will start up. They all give me the message that "XXXX Font is corrupt and should be removed." I've had this problem before and was able to fix it by creating a new user. This time that didn't work. Here is what I have tried thus far. After each item I tried starting Word again:
Ran the System Utility Onyx
Repaired Permissions
Deleted the Font Cache
Created a new user
Deleted all of the fonts from the Users Library Font folder in this new user
Ran Uninstall on Office and re-installed all of the programs fresh.
None of this worked. One observation: if it still doesn't work after a fresh installation, the uninstaller must still leave some bits of Office on my computer.
The only other items I can think of to do are to use the restore disk that came with the computer, or just give up on Office altogether and switch to iWork and NeoOffice.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks
