Corrupt or wrong MAPI32.Dll

Keith

I continue to get message, "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook.
MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or the wrong version. This could be caused by
installing other messaging software. Please reinstall Outlook."

I have research and tried everything told to do. Rename to .old and
doubleclick fixmapi.exe and other solutions; but, nothing has worked,
including reinstalling. Cannot open the program. All others in Office Suite
work. Any suggestions.

do you have other applications installed that added their own version of
mapi32? Eudora is one - there are more.

I am having the same problem and have tried the fixmapi. I have the
message... "Cannot start microsoft outlook" If I right click on the Outlook
icon and go to properties it says "You need more memory or system resources.
Close some windows and try again" Memory is not an issue. I am getting this
problem with a brand new user trying to logon for the first time and setup
the Outlook profile. It works fine for any other user??? I tried deleting
the user, adding again etc.
