I was running a very old version of Outlook 2000 when my .pst file became
corrupt and would not load. I have been told this is due to Microsoft's 2 Gig
file limit. It would not repair using SCANPST. I now have Outlook 2007
installed, and was advised that 2007 might open the file, but unfortunately
it will not. I have managed to salvage some of my older e-mails (someone used
a programme called i.HEX to do this), but have lost all new and unopened
messages, and also my Address Book, which seems to also be part fo the .pst
file (?). Does anyone know how I might at least get my Address Book back?
Oddly, SCANPST is no longer on my hard drive. I have not deleted it. I am
running Winows XP 2002 Service Pack 3 on an IBM ThinkPad. Thanks in advance.
