I have a corrupt task in a project which causes an error
while opening it via the Projet Pro 2002 interface. The
error indicates there is a circular reference. Microsoft
Customer Support identified the corruption and solved the
problem by sending me a fixed project file. Restoring
this file in place of the problem project will be easy
enough, but will result in 4 days of lost daily reporting
by more than 25 engineers.
Wouldn't it be easier to delete the task through the SQL
database and then open the project and process my daily
updates?
Does anyone know of an effective script to do such a thing?
