In Word 2007, I'm working on a booklength document, with TOC, endnotes,
index, etc. After saving it last night, when I opened it today, the file is
corrupted. The page numbers have disappeared, some of the page formatting
has changed (margins), and the endnotes have lots of extra code (merge
codes) with strangely formatted pages. Any ideas how to fix the file?
I do have lots of section breaks, and I use Document Map quite a bit. From
other users, it seems that either of these might cause problems.
