Corrupted contacts file

I have been using Outlook 2003 for a number of years. I tried to import an
Excel file contacting contacts. After importing, I can’t open my contacts
folder. Outlooks locks up. I can still access email & calendar. Any ideas
on how to fix this problem?

Sorry to say there is no error message. The programs locks up and is shown
as "not responding" I have not tried to repair the file. I do not know how.

I opend the file you sen tand tried to repair the data file, but I cannot
find the Outlook file to repair. Suggestons on where to look?

Check Event Viewer for error messages.
You can easily find the path to your data file by examining its properties.
