Corrupted database?

Hi,

I have a BE database. This error message appear when i try
to open it.

"The MS jet engine could not find the object "database".
Make sure the object exist and that you spell its name and
path correctly."

I cannot open the file.. how do i fix this....tried
the "Jetcomp".....does not work.
