Corrupted database

Brian

Hi there,

I am running a large Access 2000 database. The database will open for
me, but every time I try to open a module, form or query, I receive the
error message "The Visual Basic for Applications project in the database is
corrupt". I have read extensively about this error message, and have tried
the basic troubleshooting measures - compacting and repairing the database,
decompiling, etc., but unfortunately I receive the same error message when I
try to do this. The last resort suggested by some is to create a new
database and import all of the objects in there, but once again, I receive
the same error message. This database seems to work fine on every other
workstation I've tried it on, is my only option to reinstall Windows XP, or
possibly even reformat the hard drive?(Note: I've also tried reinstalling
Office 2000 and obtaining the latest service pack, no dice). Just wondering
if anyone had any ideas before I went forward with these rash measures.

Thanks in advance.

A thought, check your references and those of a machine that the database
works on.
