I have a very important .docx file that has been corrupted (how, I d
not know).
I've tried various methods of recovery with no luck:
Changing extension to .zip (the document.xml file cannot be extracte
(and therefore opened). So, my guess is the zip file itself i
corrupted)
Used various .zip, .docx recovery tools all of which fail to retriev
anything, or only a few lines
Tried converting to .doc using various applications, all of whic
result only in errors (and a blank document)
I've tried searching my hard disk (using such applications as fil
scavenger, recuva etc.) to find older versions (*.docx, *.tmp, ~.*
[filename].*, *.wbk)
'Open and repair' option via Word 2007 itself
Im using Word 2007 with office service pack 1 installed.
Any other options, suggestions? I'll give a reward god dammit.
Thanks
