Corrupted email? Outlook XP

I downloaded an email that Outlook XP (SP2 applied) doesn't seem to want to
open. The app just hangs and stops responding. I can't delete it, I tried
repairing the pst file.

Is there a command line switch that I can use to get Outlook to open to the
Today page instead of my email folder?

I'm hoping that with the next batch of emails downloaded I can skip past
this one and read the rest of my mail.

Hi Mark
You can try open Outlook in safe mode and then try delete the culprit
message.

To open Outlook in safe mode:
1. Close Outlook
2. Start > Run
3. Type outlook /safe > ok
