CorruptedExcelObject

Have any of you encountered problems with embedded Excel
objects in Microsoft Word 2000 (i.e., turning from
a "Worksheet Object" to an "Object")?

I have tried turning off the gridlines in Excel and
various other tricks, but am still encountering
occasional corruptions of embedded Excel objects in Word
2000.

Is there any way to reassociate the object with the
source application, without having to re-embed another
version of the spreadsheet.

I have large financial documents that I work on with
embedded Excel sheets, and this has become quite a pain
in the XXX to deal with.

Any sugeestions would be greatly appreciated.
