Hi,
I just wanted to send a brief update on the issue of files containing
certain ATP functions getting corrupted when saved as .xls in Windows Excel
2007, as reported in this thread and others:
http://www.officeformac.com/ProductForums/Excel/2054
I've passed these reports on to my counterparts on the Windows Excel team
and they're now tracking this issue. Unfortunately, they've also told me
that it's unlikely they will be able to get a fix into SP2 for this. They
will evaluate the bug for any future Excel 2007 updates.
Also, I wanted to note that I have yet to reproduce this in Mac Excel 2008
and have not seen any definitive reports of this problem in Mac Excel 2008.
If anyone has encountered this in Mac Excel, please reply to this post with
details and contact me directly.
Thanks,
Pat
