Corrupted Preferences window

Is this a known issue? The Preferences window of my my PP V9 (came with the
Office bundle) on my iBook OS 9.2.2 will open, but the contents are
completely corrupted (text unreadable, overlapping, etc.). Any ideas? Thank
you - Will.
