Why don't all you Windows users club together and sue Microsoft in a
*class* *action* to get back the cost of the anti virus software. Not
to mention the lost time wasted in these endless signature file
updates.

Back when I was a tech support we used to get daily phone calls from
the local office of the AV vendors reminding us that we hadn't paid
our yearly fee for the AV software. This was a bit like extortion I
would have thought.

Lets see...
Miscreants write virii, AV vendors hold you up for annual subscription fees
to keep your virus signatures up to date and you want to sue Microsoft, who
neither creates the virii nor markets anti-virus software? I guess I'm
missing something here....
Oh, please don't trot that tired old horse whinnying "it's all Microsoft's
fault because Windows is vulnerable". That just won't wash.

I gotta better idea:

Since using a computer is SO bothersome and wasteful for you, take your
machine out to the dumpster, toss it in, and never use one again.
