Costruction project.MS Project Professinal and Server 2003

Hello, I have a problem.

We run a construction project.
There is a project have task «to build foundation». It's planned duration -
30 days, for example.
The workers build several cubic meters of concrete every day.
In end day they must input remaining work in cubic meter in MS Project
Professional 2003.
I know the total work planned for the task is 300 cubic metre.
Project manager also needs to get the information on a percent of work
performed and completed for this task every day.

What shoukd I do to create a MS Project view for workers and what's I must
create view to computing a percent of work complete for this task?
What fields should I create for the task to get such results?

Hi,

In the Resource Sheet, create a Resource Concrete, type Material with units
of m3.
Assign units of concrete to relevant tasks.
View Task usage View
Right click yellow timescale area and select Actual Work

Enter daily volume of concrete. % complete calculates automatically.
