Hi Tracey,
Welcome to the Microsoft Project newsgroup
Sorry, can't be done. The cost of a resource is its cost to the project and
should be made of from salary/wages, overheads, overtime, pensions,
training, sickness, etc, and should thus be given to you by the accounts
department. Projects should never be planned with any type of overtime -
you should assume and plan that everyone works normal time. Overtime is one
of the few tools you have at the end of the day to catch up any delays that
have occurred. If you plan overtime, what have you got left to get you back
on track when things start to go wrong?
FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: <

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on

How do you allocate costs to resources depending which day
of the week they have been scheduled to work.
e.g.: Saturday would be std rate + ½.
Sunday would be double std rate
