It would help if you would provide with more information about this issue:

1. What version of Project Server are you using? 2002, 2003, or 2007?
2. Does everyone have this problem, only a few people, or one person?
3. Have you ever had this problem before?
4. Has your Project Server administrator made any changes to the default
security settings in Groups and Categories in Project Server?
5. What happens if you launch Microsoft Project and attempt to open a
project? Do you get the same error?

Let us know.

Dale,

The project Server is 2007.
Everyone is having this problem
No, Everything was working as of 3:00pm yesterday.

If you launch MS Pro - You receive the following message...

Can not access enterprise global
for one of the following reasons:
you do not have sufficent permissions to access the Enterprise Global

Frankly - I do not know even what the Enterprise Global is

If I click ok, I get the login screen, even after entering my userid
password get the same error .

If I change the profile to "computer" I can get into Project but not to my
Project I am trying to work with.

Thanks Rob

Are you the Project Server administrator? If so, have you changed the
permissions for Groups or Categories in any way since 3:00 PM yesterday? If
you are not the administrator, then please ask the administrator to answer
this question. This sounds like a permissions issue. Let us know what you
find out.

Rob,

I had the same error. Although we are using Citrix to run MS Project
2007 since our local client pcs are running MS 2000 Operating System.
It ended up being the setting for the path of the local cache in the
registry settings. The local cache was pointing to a user where no
one else had access to. We ended up changing the local cache setting
to everyone's profile drive in Citrix.

Hope this helps, but it was a Citrix related setting for us.

We are having the exact same problem. Could you possibly give me a
more detailed explanation to the solution?
